If you were looking for a stunning and unique engagement shoot location in and around Santa Barbara, we highly recommend Knapp’s Castle–It’s about an hour drive from downtown SB up a crazzzzzyyy windy road–once you park, it’s an easy 1 mile hike in. All we can say is that the juice is definitely worth the squeeze!! The castle itself is so unique and cool with a ton of photo opportunities including a rad little swing and a quazi schetchy rock wall barely wide enough to walk on, but if you’re the adventurous kind of couple, this location is right up your alley!

WE LOVED photographing Katie and Nick’s engagement session at Knapp’s castle–Katie wore the most stunning red dress that complimented the fire sunset from their hot summer night engagement session. K + N have been together for nearly 5 years and they still LAUGH and PLAY and LOVE as if they honeymooners; we love capturing love like theirs. It’s easy, effortless, genuine and true.
