Having photographed over 500+ weddings together we have NEVER run into this problem (knock on wood)! Luckily there are two of us, so if one of us was to get sick we would be able to get a second shooter and still shoot the day how we normally do in order to provide the quality of work that we produce.
WHAT HAPPENS IF ONE OF YOU IS SICK AND CANNOT BE ON OUR WEDDING DAY?
Since we normally book a year in advance we understand that you are still in the process of figuring out the details and coverage for your day. We allow you to add on additional coverage and video up until the day of the wedding. If you're looking for a custom package, we would be happy to put something together that suits your day perfectly. Inquire with us, and we're happy to help!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Your photos will be returned through an online gallery. The Pic-Time gallery that we send out for each session allows you to download both hi-res and websize photos, you can also share the entire day with your friends and family too! We urge you to download your entire gallery and keep backups of your wedding in multiple locations. Having said that, we do keep backups of your final gallery.
How long does it take for us to receive our final gallery of photos?
We think our biggest strength is in our posing and direction! We pride ourselves on creating a relaxed and enjoyable setting where you can be yourselves without inhibition. With easy direction and warm encouragement, you'll find yourselves effortlessly melting into each pose. From tender embraces to playful interactions, we'll orchestrate a series of poses that feel natural and comfortable, allowing your true selves to shine through. As your photographers and directors, we'll be there every step of the way, offering guidance, demonstrations, and plenty of laughter to help you feel at ease in front of the camera.

Can you help us create a photography timeline for our wedding day?

Yes! We are happy to put together a timeline for you— free of charge. A well-planned timeline will help you determine how much photography coverage you’re interested in. We also offer extended hours, so that you can opt for additional locations for photography. We’re committed to meeting your unique requirements, including crafting a customized package and day-of timeline to fit your needs. Let’s work together to design your perfect day.
We love embracing all kinds of weather! Some of our favorite shoots have come from 'not ideal' weather conditions. Having said that, we always keep a close eye on the local forecast and radars, especially if you are planning an adventure engagement shoot in the mountains. Weather can be unpredictable in Big Sur, but also passes quickly. While we can’t reschedule last-minute weddings due to weather, we keep days free around your engagement/elopements to guarantee a weather backup if needed.

For weddings/elopements located outside of Big Sur/Carmel region, but still within California, we charge $1 per mile, $350 per night for lodging expenses. For adventures a bit farther from home, we create custom quotes depending on the distance and accommodations required for that particular trip.
We’ve had the pleasure & privilege of capturing destination weddings & elopements in The Maldives, Bali, Germany, Mexico, El Salvador, Italy, Spain, Banff, Greece, France and all throughout the United States. We love to travel, and would be thrilled to embark on an international adventure with you! We have certain dream destinations on our bucket list that we’d happily waive our travel fees for, so be sure to share the details of your trip with us!
