When your best friend gets pregnant and you have the honor of teaming up with a bunch of creatives to throw her a baby shower, you know it’s going to one to remember… and it was. Tropical–Palm Springs–Pool Party was the theme for this pinterest worthy shower and it was laden with mid-century furnishings, flamingos, pineapples, and all things girly + pink. It was a sight to be seen and every detail was in it’s perfect place. The tables were adorned with a runner of tropical flowers, giant palm leaves, pink candles, and golden flatware–there were menus, calligraphy name cards, and mini-pineapples flown in from Hawaii that tied it all together.

They say it takes a village to raise a child, (while I’ll have to agree with that statement)–but it also takes a village to throw a baby shower.  From the mimosa bar that welcomed guests to the scent of home cooked delights that filled the air, to the balloon photo backdrop to the DIY onsie station, to the hand painted paper goods to the stunning floral arrangements it was an all hands on deck kind of day and we wouldn’t have had it any other way!

Rachael was glowing, she was beaming with joy when she arrived for her shower. She wore the most perfect tropical dress from Anthropologie that couldn’t have fit the theme more perfectly! She was overwhelmed with love by her family and friends that had come to celebrate her and her little girl. Blissful happiness filled the air; we are all so excited to meet little Eden come April 13, 2018!!
