MONICA + TYLER // AUGUST 23, 2015 // CASA BONITA, ANAHEIM
Tyler and Monica are the sweetest couple! They met years ago at a bible study they had joined through their church. They started to get to know one another as friends, however both confessed an attraction towards the other. Months later the friendship slowly blossomed into something with dating potential! It was Christmas time when Tyler finally got the courage to ask Monica out on a date and so he pulled out all of the stops in order to make it memorable. Tyler made reservations at a romantic french bistro at Fashion Island then planned to take Monica over to view the stunning Christmas Tree in the center of the mall! The couple held hands as they gazed up at the twinkling tree.
On their one year anniversary the two of them re-created their first date ending the night at the Christmas tree. This quickly became their annual holiday tradition! A few years later Tyler planned a little something extra special for their anniversary! After dinner the couple walked over to view the Christmas tree as they had in the years past when Tyler got down on one knee and proposed to Monica with the most beautiful rose gold engagement ring! (You ALL know that I am partial to rose gold and so I DIED when I saw Monica’s ring!!! Her ring was just stunning and I was impressed that Tyler picked it out all by himself)
Tyler had arranged for a photographer to capture the surprise proposal. Their family and friends patiently waited for the newly engaged couple to arrive home. When they finally arrived, Monica and Tyler were greeted with cheers and hugs and spent the rest of the night celebrating. Nearly two years later those same family and friends gathered at the Casa Bonita in Anaheim California to watch the couple as they vow to love one another for the rest of their lives!!
Tyler and Monica waited to see one another until Monica first walked down the isle. Tyler’s eyes welled up as his beautiful bride walked towards him. Their excitement and love and joy was overflowing as they finally were united at the alter. The couple wrote their own tender vows and their wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Their ceremony was inspired, their love pure and the celebration was evident!
Congrats to Tyler and Monica!! I pray that your marriage be full of jfor all the rest of your days!
