What was the Inspiration for your wedding day? What inspired Josh and I for our wedding day were two words romantic and whimsical. As I say Romantical. I really wanted to go with classic theme. So not many colors, whites and creams and allowing the greenery from our beautiful venue to be the backdrop. When we first saw our venue it was almost like a step back in time, to this amazing romantic place you could find in a great romance novel. It was exactly what we were looking for romantic, whimsical, and just magical overall. I chose a classical ball gown for my dress with a modern flair in the layers. Which was by the amazing Haley Paige. Josh wore a classic one button black and white tux with a satin collar. One of my favorite things was my peonies bouquet all white.
How did you make your wedding special and include aspects of the two of you??! What made our wedding day special for the two of us by really focusing our day around family and keeping it traditional. We had a small wedding of 75 people and Josh saw me for the first time walking down the isle. Music is also very important to us and we worked hand in hand with our string quartet and amazing DJ to have the perfect soundtrack for our wedding day.
Most memorable moment (s) of your wedding day? FROM THE BRIDE My bridesmaids, maid of honor, mother in law and I all stayed at the venue the night before the wedding. That was really special to me getting to talk and share story’s that night and walking up to where I was going to get married. I took some time and walked the grounds alone thinking about how lucky I am that I get to marry the man of my dreams. Then we all enjoyed an amazing breakfast outside overlooking the fields. However my favorite part was seeing Josh’s face for the first time as I walked down the isle and saying our own vows the each other.
FROM THE GROOM My most memorable moment from the wedding was seeing Lauren for the first time when she started to walk down the aisle. She looked absolutely stunning and I couldn’t take my eyes off of her. Also, we wrote our own vows and we shared those during the ceremony. It was the thing I was most nervous about, but saying those words to her allowed me to share everything in my heart about the way I feel, my promises to her, and my commitment to her for the rest of our lives.

ADVICE FOR THOSE PLANNING NOW? We would recommend writing your own vows. It really makes it so special and gives you the chance to tell your Husband or Wife truly how you feel. Also, going on your honeymoon a couple days after the wedding. It gives you a chance to really soak everything in.
